Wild weather such as this is pretty rare around here.

The tidal surge is very stong and destroyed a popular waterfront restaurant,

ironically named "The Surf".

 

This was taken recently on a shopping trip to Silverdale. It is an Ohio Class submarine returning from a patrol in the pacific to it's homeport in Bangor, WA via the Hood Canal Bridge.
